Jubilee Church Bromley - Children & Families

Children & Families

We really love connecting with families and want Jubilee Church to be a place where everyone feels safe and loved. We are committed to safeguarding practices and all our children's volunteers and staff have been appointed through a safer recruitment process. More on our safeguarding practices.

Our children and families worker Jess can be contacted via jess@jubileechurch.co.uk.

Children’s Worker

Jubilee Church has employed a part-time Children’s Worker since 2009. Jessica-Ann Jenner has been our Children and Families Worker since September 2016. The children and families worker role is responsible for children's work on a Sunday, Little Stars and other activities or events for children and families. You can contact Jess at jess@jubileechurch.co.uk

Little Stars

Little Stars runs on Thursday mornings during term, between 10.00-11.30am and provides a warm welcome for parents and carers of pre-school children. There are lots of different toys to enjoy, a role play area, craft station and when the weather is good our patio area is open with ride on toys and a sand pit! Song time at the end of our time together is always popular!

There is a minimum donation of £1.50 per child per session, and this includes tea or coffee for the adults and a craft activity, drinks and snacks (fruit and biscuits) for the children. You are more than welcome to come along and try out Little Stars – but we recommend arriving early as places are limited and there’s often a queue!

To find out more, you can contact jess@jubileechurch.co.uk. And to keep up to date with the latest news from us, like Little Stars on Facebook

Family Activity Lunches

Usually held on the third Saturday of each month between 11.00am-12.30pm at the Jubilee Centre, these sessions are for all ages and are a place for families to come and spend time together and enjoy each other’s company.

Each month has a different theme, but there will always be a range of craft activities to try, toys to play with, a story time and some fun games together...plus lunch together for everyone Previous activities include baking, den building, movie mornings and once a year we create a wonderful light up window display together!

The whole session is great fun for adults and children alike! The cost is just £3 per family, so why not come and join us! Please contact us for more information at jess@jubileechurch.co.uk or to be added to our monthly mailing list.

Sunday Mornings

We love to spend time together on a Sunday Morning and most of our services begin with all ages together in the main hall where we can worship and learn from one another. On some Sundays we invite the children to spend time in groups learning and growing together. We believe that children of all ages can develop their own personal relationship with God and encounter Him in their daily lives, not just on Sunday mornings.

Crèche (0-4 Year Olds)

A supervised crèche is available downstairs. Little ones can play together in a relaxed and fun environment as they explore a Bible story. The creche is a space for children to feel safe, loved and connected to Father God through play, crafts, stories, songs and friendship.

Jubilee Kids & Youth (4-16 Year Olds)

School-aged children are invited to gather upstairs to explore the Bible together through games, crafts, prayer and fun! The groups provide a safe space for children to explore their personal faith and connect with God, applying the truths they hear to their own lives.

We love to connect with and support families as they grow in faith together, helping children and young people to realise their value and the part they play in God’s Big Plan for the world!
