Children's MinistryChildren's Activities

Here at Jubilee we want children of all ages to feel welcomed and have plenty of activities for families to enjoy together in a safe environment. Our children's workers are appointed following safer recruiting practices, are DBS checked and have first aid and safeguarding training.  If you have any questions about the groups or the content, or want to know more about bringing your children along on a Sunday, or to any of our activities, then please contact us:  info@jubileechurch.co.uk

Little Stars – Toddler Group

Little Stars runs on Thursday mornings during term, between 10.00-11.30am and provides a warm welcome for parents and carers of pre-school children. There are lots of different toys to enjoy, a weekly craft, delicious snacks and in the summer we open up our patio too! Song time at the end of our time together is always popular!

There is a minimum donation of £1.50 per child per session, and this includes tea or coffee for the adults and a craft activity, drinks and snacks (fruit and biscuits) for the children. You are more than welcome to come along and try out Little Stars – but we recommend arriving early as places are limited and there’s often a queue!

You can follow us on Instagram and Facebook.

Family Activity Lunches

Usually held on the third Saturday of each month between 11.00am-12.30pm at the Jubilee Centre, these sessions are for all ages and are a place for families to come and spend time together and enjoy each other’s company.

Each month has a different theme, but there will always be a range of craft activities to try, toys to play with, a story time and some fun games...plus lunch together for everyone. The whole session is great fun for adults and children alike! The cost is just £3 per family, so why not come and join us!

You can look at the Jubilee Calendar to see when our next event is.

Sunday Mornings

We love to spend time together on a Sunday Morning. Most of our services begin with all ages together in the main hall where we can worship and learn from one another. On some Sundays we invite the children to spend time in groups learning and growing together. We believe that children of all ages can develop their own personal relationship with God and encounter Him in their daily lives, not just on Sunday mornings.

Crèche (0-4 Year Olds)

A crèche is available downstairs for parents/carers including a live stream of the service. Little ones can play together in a relaxed and fun environment. The creche is a space for children to feel safe, loved and connected to Father God through play, crafts, and friendship while their grownups connect too.

Jubilee Kids (4-11 Year Olds)

School-aged children are invited to gather downstairs to explore the Bible together through games, crafts, prayer and fun! The groups provide a safe space for children to explore their personal faith and connect with God, applying the truths they hear to their own lives.

We love to connect with and support families as they grow in faith together, helping children and young people to realise their value and the part they play in God’s Big Plan for the world!

Planning your Visit

A Warm Hello

The following information is specifically for those planning a visit, so that you know what to expect on a Sunday morning.

Where and When

We meet at the Jubilee Centre, 157 Southlands Road, Bromley (details here) for our Sunday Service starting at 10:00am. For your first visit, we recommend arriving a few minutes early to ensure you get a parking space and find somewhere to sit before the service begins. When you arrive, you should be greeted by someone from our Welcome Team who will be at the entrance.

Accessibility: There is wheelchair access, and a sound loop for anyone who needs it. Please let one of the Welcome Team know on your arrival and they will help you to get set up. There is a disabled toilet in the corridor outside the main hall.

Our Service

You can expect a warm welcome, meaningful worship, and an encouraging message as we explore the Bible together and discover what Jesus has to say to us today. We believe God is present and active, and we create space to listen, reflect, and be inspired.

Children and young people stay with their parent or carer at the start of the service for the welcome and a couple of songs, as we really value worshipping God together as a church family. When it’s time for the children’s and young people’s groups to begin, this will be announced. If you’re visiting for the first time and your child or young person would like to join a group, our children’s worker, Jess, will take a few basic details from you.

Our children’s groups are age-appropriate and activities vary, but typically include a mix of Bible stories, prayer, music, craft, drama, fun games and free play.

We aim to finish the service at around 11.15am with information and notices, after which the children and young people will return to join you. Refreshments are available straight after the service, and there is sometimes an opportunity to receive prayer at the end if you would like.

If you have any questions or queries about the building or the service, please contact our Senior Leader, Derek Holl:  derek.holl@jubileechurch.co.uk

Children's Groups

The groups provide a safe space for children to explore faith and connect with God.
